March 24, 2011
By

This Saturday sees the arrival of Earth Hour 2011, where countries around the world participate in switching off all lights as a stand against climate change and as a show of support towards creating a sustainable future. 2010 saw 128 countries participate in Earth Hour, and the hope is that 2011 will be even bigger!

Earth Hour started in 2007 in Australia, and has grown to become a worldwide event. All over the world, landmarks and buildings will stand in darkness to pledge support for Earth Hour and what it stands for. Lets show our support this Earth Hour by switching off all our lights between 8:30pm and 9:30pm this Saturday evening, the 26th March.
