Your RRVA committee (http://www.rrva.net/rrva-info/your-committee/) is on a drive to provide our members with more value for money. We understand that our area needs our attention, so at our last meeting on the 23rd of June 2011, we hashed out and prioritised a list of projects that we have tasked ourselves with to ensure ongoing improvement to our members and our area. Our projects are as follows:
- SMS Capability – all members will receive RRVA Alert SMS’ to one cellphone per member household alerting members of incidents and particulars to look out for.
- Painting the railings over the bridge on Randpark Drive next to the Spar
- Wooden poles (on Medlar, Seder and Randpark Drive) will be either refurbished or removed (depending on the road)
- The entrances to RRVA land will be landscaped with stones and cacti
- A Domestic Worker program will be setup to train and inform our domestic workers in how to assist with looking out for crime and keeping themselves and our families safe and informed
- An RRVA Newsletter will be distributed on a regular basis to RRVA land – if you have content, please don’t hesitate to send it on to us…
Thank you hugely for your continued support – we aim to constantly strive to improve our area and our offerings to our members, and these projects will put us on the right foot in the right direction. Please don’t hesitate to contact any of your committee members should you have any queries!

Hi
There is a missing slab on a storm water drain on Seder Str ( Spar end). You cannot see the hole until you are virtually on top of it.It is only a matter of time before a kid on their way home from school is injured or even killed. If we could just place tape around it until the council does something.
Thanks
Thank you for letting us know – we will arrange this accordingly
