Crime Line has released photograph’s of South Africa’s most wanted criminals. Fighting crime is everyone’s responsibility. By reporting suspicious activities or individuals, you assist the SAPS in dealing with undesirable and criminal elements. By familiarising yourself with the photo’s of these individuals, you may be able to assist the SAPS in capturing them should you see one of them. Lets help the police help us! While we don’t know why it has taken the involved parties so long to reach a decision on a way forward for the current Pikitup strike action, we do know that it is now over! Pikitup is back in our suburb to take away our rubbish, with today being our scheduled day. Looking forward to a clean suburb again!

This Saturday sees the arrival of Earth Hour 2011, where countries around the world participate in switching off all lights as a stand against climate change and as a show of support towards creating a sustainable future. 2010 saw 128 countries participate in Earth Hour, and the hope is that 2011 will be even bigger!
Earth Hour started in 2007 in Australia, and has grown to become a worldwide event. All over the world, landmarks and buildings will stand in darkness to pledge support for Earth Hour and what it stands for. Lets show our support this Earth Hour by switching off all our lights between 8:30pm and 9:30pm this Saturday evening, the 26th March.
