The theft of motor vehicles in the Honeydew Precinct is on the increase. We are experiencing an increase of vehicle theft and theft out of motor vehicles especially if these vehicles are not secured and parked inside properties in locked garages or carports. Vehicles left parked on pavements and verges are at extreme risk. Criminals are targeting older vehicles as well as newer Polo, Golf, Hyundai H100 & Toyota Hilux twin cabs. Please be alert to the above and stay safe.

Eskom has requested a total isolation at Randburg substation. It will affect same areas as it did on 22 August 2010. Please inform all residents in the below mentioned suburbs.

The RRVA is launching its new website with a photo competition!!
The RRVA Committee will form a panel of judges whose decision will be final… The prize will be posted soon (and it will be worth the wait), however in the meantime, start taking those photos! The competition will run until the end of September, and the winners and their photographs will be displayed on the website by the 7th of October 2010…
So what sort of photo do you need to take? Well, anything you see in the RRVA area… People walking their dogs, kids playing in the park, arty night shots, spring braais at home, anything, as long as its themed “Things and goings on in the Randpark Ridge Village”…
So, to enter, submit your photos to webmaster@rrva.net with your name, surname and street before the end of September… Lets make our community a fun and vibrant place to be!!
