Membership to the RRVA is currently R330 per month (R240 pensioners), and services include:

1. 24/7 Security patrols – We have an agreement with EC Security that a vehicle will be dedicated to our area 24 hours / 365 days. 
2. 24/7 Emergency and armed response on request. Armed response linked to your alarm system is not included. But RRVA members get a discounted rate from EC Security.
3. Paramedic medical response –  Vitalmed is affiliated with EC Security.
4. Pro-active patrols – The dedicated EC Vehicle patrol our streets. (+-6000km per month)
5. Area utility management – Monitoring and reporting of infrastructure faults, like burst pipes, street lights not working and potholes.
6. Monitoring of vagrants, incident reporting to EC Security and SAPS.
7. Reporting & statistics of crime – Monthly meetings with EC Security discussing the crime report of our area.
8. Communicating security tips, crime trends and news to the community
9. Maintenance of our parks, environment and municipal infrastructure
   •    Monitoring City Park services
   •    Removal of litter and rubble
   •    Cutting and pruning of vegetation
   •    Removing of alien vegetation
   •    Painting of bins, benches, walls, drainage, etc
   •    Access to parks, including gate and fence maintenance
   •    Sub-Station Maintenance
10. Special projects
    •    Environment – Bat and Owl boxes, Tree tagging, Street name pole conversions, ect
    •    Security – Solar security lighting, sub-station security, CCTV, ect
11. CCTV cameras (monitored 24/7 in EC Control room)
    •    Border security that has automatic number plate recognition cameras that triggers when listed vehicles enter our area. (Seder, Medlar, Karee, Appelblaar and Randpark drive)
    •    Key area (Top of Randpark Drive, Muggers alley, Spar entrance, Hymany Dam.
    •    Greenbelt (Future deployment)

13. The RRVA is a Section 18A Public Benefit Organisation, as such we issue members with Section 18A tax certificates for their contribution to our Non-profit. These certificates can be submitted to SARS with your annual income tax submission to reduce the amount of income tax that you pay. Please email membership@rrva.net for more information.
