πΏπ§ RRVA Community Clean-Up Update π§πΏ
The work never really stops… and over the last few weeks our dedicated maintenance team has been hard at work keeping our greenbelt healthy and functioning as it should. πͺ
Here’s some of what has been happening:
β Opening water channels that had become blocked due to overgrowth
β Clearing rivers and stormwater channels throughout the greenbelt along Seder Street and Waboom Street
β Cutting down reeds along the dam on Seder Street
β Clearing the riverbed to improve water flow
π‘ Why is this important?
Keeping our rivers, dams and water channels maintained helps prevent flooding, reduces erosion, improves water quality and ensures these beautiful natural spaces remain healthy and enjoyable for everyone. It also helps protect the infrastructure around them and contributes to maintaining our property values.
π A heartfelt thank you to the contributing members of the RRVA. Your support makes it possible to keep our neighbourhood and greenbelt well maintained for the benefit of all.
π If you’re not yet a member, we invite you to share in the care of our neighbourhood β join RRVA now.
The more residents who participate, the more we can accomplish together. After all, a neighbourhood that is cared for is a neighbourhood that people are proud to call home. π
