Discussion Outline
There are various options to consider before investing in alternative backups, or substitute current energy systems. This will include a framework for prioritising where to invest first, and a road map to energy independence.
The role and future potential of renewable energy (particularly rooftop solar power) will be discussed, and put into perspective. The current spate of power cuts will be explained, with reasons given, as well as the risks these power cuts pose to suburban residents. He will also discuss why appliances seem more inclined to blow from power “surges” and what you can do to mitigate risks to yourself, and your household.
Bring along the latest copy of your City of Johannesburg rates statement and learn where opportunities exist to reduce your monthly electricity bill. We can guarantee you will benefit from this informative talk and that you will be able to save money on your electricity bill.
